President's Report Correction

August 25, 2005

In the July President's Report sent to the Steering Committee and posted on the Evergreen website, Mr. Cuthill, as President of Evergreen Security, Ltd., made the following statement:

During 2004 the second criminal trial for Anthony Huggins and Jon M. Knight was held in New York. Mr. Huggins and Mr. Knight were the owners of International Portfolio Analytics, Ltd., which was an investment advisor for Evergreen. The jury found Mr. Knight guilty on all counts, while it could not reach a verdict on Mr. Huggins. Mr. Knight filed an appeal.
Recently, Mr. Cuthill has learned the following information:
1. The jury in the second criminal trial was asked to deliberate only with regard to one count and, thus, he was found guilty on only that count.
2. The presiding judge entered no verdict against Mr. Knight subsequent to the jury finding.
3. Mr. Knight did not file an appeal on this matter.
